The Shepherd's Hut

The Shepherd’s Hut off the main platform but beautifully placed in the historic setting of the old animal pens. This locally, custom built Shepard’s Hut has one single bed and is cosy even in the depths of winter. It has its own sitting area and great views to the mountains and the railway. The Ben Lui Victorian toilet block is close by on the platform.
Ben Cruachan
Ben Cruachan was historically ‘The Ladies Waiting Room’ and now has been transformed into a lovely bedroom with two single beds and lots of interesting features. It has good views from both windows. It has its own toilet and wash hand basin.

The Posting Room

The Posting Room was used in the late 1800’s to store post which came in by train. In its most recent history it was the first aid room. It has now been transformed into a cosy double bedroom with tea/coffee making facilities.
The Posting Room is just around the corner from Ben Lui.

The Writer’s Retreat

The Ramblers Rest
The Ramblers Rest was originally ‘The Gentleman’s Waiting Room’ and is now a comfortable room with an ensuite toilet and wash hand basin. Our shower facilities are called ‘Ben Lui’ ; a restored quirky Victorian toilet block a little further down the platform. We named it the Rambler’s Rest after Tom Weir, Scotland’s famous Rambler. An icon of Weir’s Way and its wistful, heartfelt portrayal of an almost mythical Scotland.

The Honeycomb Hut

The Honeycomb Hut
The Honeycomb Hut is a peaceful secluded space away from the working platform and on Dalmally Stations second platform which was used to load animals and goods . It no longer has rails below it but peaceful pasture with sheep and chickens . the views to Ben Cruachan and Ben Lui are beautiful . It has a double bed and tea making facilities . It shares a bathroom a short distance away.
